Christmas in the Clouds is a romantic comedy from 2001 that presents a holiday themed fun time for the entire family. The plot revolves around a case of mistaken identity which accounts for almost half of the movie and makes any member of the family smile.

The trailer begins with a letter, which is explained to be the one that started everything, meaning that it started a sequence of events that has lead the characters to where they are.

Joe Clouds on Fire was pen pals with a woman from New York, named Tina. Seeing as they have never met, Tina wanted to meet Joe for the first time and have a face to face discussion like all of the ones they have had in the past through letters. She leaves New York to go to the family owned resort of Joe and his son Ray, under her father’s last name so Joe will not know it was her when arriving at the resort.

Joe’s son, Ray is the general manager of their family’s tribe resort. He finds out that a representative from the Worthington Travel Guide will be staying at Ski Mountain and informs everyone to do their best to make the reviewer feel at home in order to make the establishment more successful.

Tina thinks that Ray is Joe and Ray thinks that Tina is the reviewer. Due to this mistaken identity their plans change drastically as the real critic gets the worst treatment, Tina and Ray start a romance and Joe finally finds out who Tina is. The trailer for Christmas in the Clouds also presents a few amusing scenes with the other characters, making anyone want to see the film.
